From the northern end of Patagonia and Los Lagos region with its picture-perfect volcanoes, to the wild pacific coast, magical araucaria forests, towering peaks of the Andes all the way up to the Atacama Desert. Shot in June and July 2019 traveling over 5000km from south to north.

Even though this was a work-trip and I just had 4 days to spend in the amazing Torres del Paine Nationpark in Chile is was sight to behold. Early in spring snow, wind and stormy winds were always part of the game. Weather completely flipped from warm and calm into a snow-storm within minutes. But that’s what we expect and makes Patagonia such a special and wild place. Filmed with an array of great cameras including the RED-EPIC-W “Helium”, Nikon D850 and Sony A7RII and mastered in 8K 60FPS.

NEW ZEALAND ASCENDING | 8K60
Explore southern New Zealand in a journey from the dry highlands of canterbury to the lush rainforests of the westcoast and the rugged coastlines of the south to the highest peaks of the southern Alps. Captured in incredibly detailed 8K resolution and mastered at 60fps this video is aimed to bring you as close to the scenery as being just on location. Within the production-time of 16weeks, 185000 photos have been taken, 8TB of raw-material shot, over 220 hours of time captured, 8000km driven and over 1000 hours have been spent for post-production.
Astronomers Paradise | 2019 Remastered Edition
The ESO has three astronomical observation sites spread across the Atacama region in Chile: Paranal with its VLT telescopes and soon the E-ELT, the oldest site: La Silla and ALMA located above 5000m/16400ft. Shot during the ESO UltraHD expeditions in 2011 and 2014, Christoph Malin spend many nights under the stars shooting the nightsky with advanced capturing and exposure ramping techniques. Together with state of the art post-production techniques we were able to remaster the old RAW-sequences in crisp 4K for 2019s viewing standards.
