Eind 2017 was ik ook in New York City en vloog ik in een helikopter boven deze magische stad. Klinkt niet bijzonder? Wat als ik je vertel dat de heli geen deuren had? Dat je met je voeten en hoofd buitenboord kan hangen? Geloof me, dat was héél bijzonder! En doodeng!
Om die reden kijk ik ook met grote ogen toe hoe deze stuntpiloot (letterlijk en figuurlijk) op de kop boven NYC vliegt. Die shots vanuit de helikopter, whoahw!

Aerobatics Red Bull pilot Aaron Fitzgerald took over the open space above the Hudson River in New York to stun onlookers with a wide range of helicopter tricks. Fitzgerald performed the flips, barrel rolls and nose dives in front of the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park and alongside the West Side Highway.
