The World’s richest man has put his interest in Liverpool FC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Elon Musk, with a net worth of over $400 billion, is the richest man alive, and recently, he has shown serious interest in buying a sports team. However, it is not an NBA or NFL team, as many people might think. It is a “small” UK football team called Liverpool FC, which Elon wants to buy, according to his dad. The team is currently the first in the premier league and has been one of the biggest established football teams in the UK since 1960. However, the team is much older and was created in 1892 after separating from Everton F.C.<\/p>\n\n\n

It’s not the first time Elon Musk has said something about buying a football club before. But the previous time, he mentioned buying Manchester United. However, he later clarified he had no serious intentions of buying the team at the time. This might be different with Liverpool FC, as there is another reason he feels connected to the team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liverpool is currently valued at over $5 billion and owned by Fenway Sports Group. Fenway Sports Group recently reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the club, after selling a minority stake in 2023, so Elon Musk has some convincing to do if he wants to buy the team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last time, Musk was joking about buying a football team in the UK. However, this time, it might be more serious as he has a deeper connection with Liverpool.
