However, in 2023, the temperature stayed below the critical threshold by 0.02\u00baC. For example, November of 2024 was the warmest November ever globally, with an average temperature of 1.62\u00baC above pre-industrial levels! Now we can see some results already. The Antarctic sea ice hit its lowest extent for November and the third lowest ever recorded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll also see more weather events that are caused by the climate crisis. Things like heatwaves, droughts, floods and enormous wildfires will happen more frequently.
