The VR headsets might become a reality, however, the tablets will probably not make the cut. Especially not after the US military is choosing a whole different way to control their weapons! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The future of warfare is a lot different than expected. Instead of having tablets and large screens, the army is implementing more ergonomic ways to control their equipment. They have used similar controllers to play games during their childhood and teenage years. Nowadays almost every household has at least one gaming console in their living room. Kids have grown up using these systems and controllers over the years. These controllers will feel more natural and familiar to use for these soldiers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-multiple-variants-of-the-controllers-are-being-integrated\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Multiple_Variants_Of_The_%E2%80%9CControllers%E2%80%9D_Are_Being_Integrated\"><\/span>Multiple Variants Of The &#8220;Controllers&#8221; Are Being Integrated<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These modified controllers are called the Freedom of Movement Control Unit or FMCU in short. They&#8217;re already getting integrated into multiple departments of the army. They&#8217;re also used for multiple types of weapons such as a high-energy weapon and multiple air defence systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These controllers are high quality and specifically designed to be adapted to the specific machines or weapons they need to control. However, it does sound a lot like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailybase.com\/en\/oceangates-submersible-disaster-leads-to-lawsuit-after-fatal-implosion\/\"><strong>&#8220;Adjusted&#8221; controller from the Oceangate submarine<\/strong><\/a> that imploded.
