The facilities in which the surgery was performed, had years of research and data to back up the plan to perform this surgery. He controlled the robot from his office in Shanghai and successfully removed the Tumor from the patient&#8217;s lung. The whole surgery lasted just under an hour. However, the main surgeon was not even close to the building where this surgery took place. He guided a self-developed robot remotely from his own office in Shanghai. The robot was in a facility that was just under 5000km away.
