Because of the attention that the festival gets, a lot of car manufacturers choose to unveil their newest additions to the lineups during this event. This was the case for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailybase.com\/en\/lamborghini-unveils-the-new-lamborghini-temerario-at-monterey\/\"><strong>Lamborghini with their new Temerario<\/strong><\/a>, however, it wasn&#8217;t the only car reveal during the festival! Electric Hypercar brand Rimac, chose to unveil the newest version of <strong>their Nevera, the Rimac Nevera R,<\/strong> and it is incredible! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rimac-nevera-r-the-most-powerful-car-from-the-factory\">Rimac Nevera R, the most powerful car from the factory  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When the original Nevera was revealed, people were shocked when they realised it came with over 1900 horsepower. However, this wasn&#8217;t the highest horsepower production car yet. The <strong>Lotus Evija has 2000 horsepower<\/strong> from the factory. This is <strong>something Rimac took into consideration<\/strong> when designing the new <strong>Nevera R. By tweaking<\/strong> the design of the Nevera, they were able to get 200 more horsepower out of the car. There will be only 40 units made for the whole world, and <strong>comes with a price tag of 2,2 million dollars<\/strong>! With their &#8220;normal&#8221; cars, Rimac is focused on the driveability and usability of the cars on normal roads. Mate Rimac told the crowds at Monterey Car Week that they were developing a track-focused car, which will be a single-seater such as the McLaren Solus GT so the customers can go all out on race tracks.
