If you are planning a city trip to London (or any other major city in fairness!) in the next few weeks, we highly advise against it. Over the weekend large groups of protesters marched through streets across the UK to protest against illegal immigrants entering the country. This was in response to the news of the killing of three young girls. These protests then escalated into riots and caused complete chaos in the UK!
A 17-year-old man attempted a mass murder during a dance class of young girls. In this attack, he stabbed multiple children during this attack. Killing 3 young girls: Bebe King (6), Elsie Dot Stancombe (7), and Alice Dasilva Aguiar (9), and leaving most of the others in critical condition. The two adult teachers were also attacked by this man.
Large Groups of Protesters Swarm streets
As a response to this news, the British people marched through the streets to get justice for these crimes. Rumours spread that the man who attacked was the son of illegal immigrants. The protesters want the borders of the UK closed to refugees and only accept legal immigration requests.
However, it quickly escalated into a protest against the Islamisation of the UK. Some far-right individuals instigated violence against these groups. Many people who came to protest were just there to stand up against violent crimes they believe are a result of illegal immigration. However, the energy quickly changed and turned into complete chaos throughout the country!
From Protests to Riots and Looting
The anti-Islamisation protests were met with large groups of men in masks brandishing weapons such as hammers and axes. Chants of “Allahu Akbar” could be heard as a response to the British protesters.
In many different locations, fights between the two groups broke out resulting in many people being wounded on both sides. There are multiple videos on social media pages where you can see people of both groups looting small stores, lighting fires and destroying property. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who has held this position for nearly a month, responded to these riots. In a video, he announced that people who participated in the “thuggery” will face consequences.
