Early Sets seem too much for Carlos

If you were watching the first set of this Wimbledon game, you might have lost hope that Carlos Alcaraz would have a chance of winning this year’s tournament. Andrey Rublev had a 4-1 lead and it looked like Carlos couldn’t find his usual pace in the game. With multiple errors and bad serves, it wasn’t looking good for the Spanish pro player. During one of the sets, he even slipped and fell on the grass; luckily, it wasn’t a hard enough fall that could have caused him injury. Luckily for the No.2 he never stopped believing in himself and was able to turn things around eventually!

Carlos Alcaraz kept his cool and took control of the game!

Carlos Alcaraz didn’t beat himself up too much, quite the contrary, actually. In between sets and games, he was trying to hype himself up so that he would have more energy. This eventually worked and he was able to get himself in a better position. As the game progressed Andrey Rublev lost his spirit and started playing against himself while Carlos kept his cool. Eventually Carlos won in 4 sets showing that you can still win even if you have a bad start.

Carlos Alcaraz is now going to the next round to fight for his third consecutive Wimbledon title win, and he has a very big chance of actually winning it!
