The Tesla Cybertruck was one of the most hyped-up cars in the world! Elon Musk chose one of the least aerodynamic designs and went full future. We haven’t heard much about the Cybertrucks, however, we have seen the prices go up by quite a bit. On the second-hand market and the Tesla website! Keep reading to discover why these prices are rising!
Why Did The Prices Of Tesla Cybertrucks Go Up?
When the Cybertruck was unveiled, Elon Musk promised that the cheapest model would cost around 40.000 dollars. However, years later when the car actually came to the market, it had gone up to 61.000 dollars! Even though it got a lot of criticism because of this big change, it was a great success and thousands of people ordered the car.

Since the car has been released and delivered to customers, more and more problems seem to occur with the vehicle. Many people expected this to lower the price of the car, but the opposite happened. Tesla has removed the option to buy the base model, the $61K rear-wheel drive version. When they did this, they also raised the price of the all-wheel drive and the most powerful version by 20.000 dollars! Now the four-wheel drive Tesla Cybertruck costs 99.000 dollars and the Cyberbeast is 119.000 dollars!
Is The Cybertruck Worth it?
You might think that Tesla has done this because no one really wanted the base model of the Cybertruck and that there is a big demand for the truck. However, over the years it has been available and driving around, multiple and often serious problems have been reported. Some said that the gas pedal of the Tesla Cybertruck got stuck, and made the truck accelerate uncontrollably. Then there were a couple of trucks that showed a door gap a few weeks after delivery. These problems are fixed for free, but they shouldn’t happen when you buy a car that costs around 100.000$!
