Having a Bugatti is a sign of absolute wealth. Only the richest in the world can afford these cars. With a price tag of 3,3 million dollars for a “base” model Bugatti Chiron, is one of the most expensive base models in the world. Their new car, the Bugatti Tourbillon will be even more expensive and set you back more than 4 million dollars! Even though the Chiron is now a real icon in the car world, it could have been a lot different! Keep on reading to discover what the car could have looked like!
The Bugatti Chiron Was The Veyron’s Successor
When the Bugatti Veyron came out, people questioned its looks. However, now it is one of the most iconic cars of all time. This was mostly because the Bugatti Veyron Supersport was the fastest production car of its time with a top speed of 432 km/h. Because of its popularity the Bugatti Chiron, its successor, immediately became one of the most iconic cars. However, this car was also the definition of speed for the past 8 years. It is the car that broke the 300mph, 482km/h barrier.
There are multiple versions of the Bugatti Chiron such as the “normal” one, the sport and then the Super Sport 300+! The last Chiron ever produced is called “L’Ultime” and included the signatures of multiple important people who contributed to the Chiron project. These signatures are hand-painted in the unique livery of the car. Check it out below!

Some Of The Potential Chiron Designs
While everyone can now picture the Bugatti Chiron without much effort, it could have been a completely different design. When designing a car, the manufacturer will have car designers draw multiple versions. Each of the drawings will have small tweaks to show the potential looks of the car. While the car was unveiled in 2016, the design process started in 2008 with loads of different designs. A few months after announcing the new Bugatti Tourbillon and completing the production of the last Chiron ever, Bugatti has finally released some of the designs that weren’t used! Check out the pic below to discover what it could have looked like!
