HBO teases with images of Harry Potter and Hagrid
The cast for the new show has been made public for a while now, and everyone seems to like it. However, the roles of Harry Potter characters are big shoes to fill. When the HBO team shared the first images of Hagrid and Harry, the true fans of the wizarding world regained hope that the magical world would continue! Harry Potter will be played by Dominic McLaughlin, and based on this first pic, it looks like they’ve chosen him well. Hagrid, played by Nick Frost, looks a lot like the friendly giant we’re used to. They have started the production of the show
On July 14th, HBO finally started the production of the show with the first recordings of the new series that takes a deeper dive into the wizarding world. It is rumored that this season of the Harry Potter tv show will have around eight, one hour, episodes. Every school year will get its own season with eight episodes each. It will definitely be a long binge-watch once everything has been released!
Most people think Eight episodes per school year might be a long stretch. But real fans know that the wizarding world has enough to offer to keep your eyes glued to the screen for each episode. This is if they execute the idea property and keep things interesting.
When can you expect the show?
Were you hoping to watch the pilot episode of this show any time soon? Then we have some unfortunate news for you. It is true that they have started recording the show this year. However, HBO said that it will only be released in 2027, which is just under a year and a half from now.
If you really can’t wait until then, we advise you to watch one of the Harry Potter movies per month. By the time you have finished it two times, you’ll probably be able to watch the new show as well!
