Subaru is known for legendary rally cars and giant SUVs that you can take off-road. However, what you wouldn’t expect from the brand is the introduction of a subcompact SUV that is fully electric. However, this is exactly what Subaru has announced when they revealed the Subaru Uncharted 2026! Keep on reading to discover more about it.
This Is The New Entry Level Subaru SUV!
The new Subaru Uncharted 2026 will be the newest addition to the Subaru lineup. It is the first time the company has introduced a smaller SUV. It features the body style of coupe SUV’s like the Renault Arkana, the Audi Q4 or the BMW X2, and features a new design style of Subaru. The car has three different variants: Standard, Sport and GT
If you go for the sport variant, the interior will be upgraded to have a synthetic leather trim in a two-tone design. For the rest, you’ll get a 14-inch infotainment display, two wireless charging pads, and ample storage in the center console. However, if you’re going to be the designated driver, you might wanna test out the car first. It features a “squircle” for a steering wheel, which is a circle with a flat top and bottom. It might give you a little more space for your knees, but it can feel weird when first using it.
The car will now feature Tesla Supercharging ports, allowing it to utilize fast charging capabilities of up to 150 kW. This means that the car can go from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes, to get you back on the road as fast as possible. Both the Uncharted FWD and the Uncharted Sport will have a range of more than 300 miles, just under 500Km, making it a good car for road trips.
The Subaru Uncharted GT has over 300bhp!
While the standard and the Sport variant of the car will have just over 200 bhp, you can also get an upgraded version of the car. The Subaru Uncharted GT will have over 300bhp, which is quite a lot for the SUV. However, because of the extra power the range of the battery will go down by a little over 20 miles, or 30 kilometers! The standard price of this car hasn’t been released yet, but some sources say it will start with a little over $35.000 as a base price. Want to know more about the car?
