Robert Downey Jr., aka Tony Stark or Iron Man, has been one of the most essential heroes in the Marvel Universe. From his first appearance in the first Iron Man movie, all the way until his final moments in the Avengers movie, fans have had nothing but admiration for the actor. After his death, many people thought he would somehow come back to the Marvel Universe.
Iron Man, the character that Robert Downey Jr. played in the Marvel Universe sacrificed himself and died. This was a shock for most fans as they didn’t expect him to die in the movies. Robert Downey Jr will return as Doctor Doom!
Recently Marvel revealed the new Avengers movie: “Avengers Doomsday“. Many fans expected them to have a surprise visit from Robert Downey Jr., and that Iron Man would return. However, the fans were introduced to the next villain from the Marvel Multiverse: Doctor Doom.
They introduced the new actor who was going to play this villain. According to the producers, this was a role only the best actor in the world could fulfil! The crowd held their breath in suspense when Dr. Doom showed up on stage. Seconds later the actor lifted the mask and revealed himself. Still hope for an Iron Man return
With Marvel, nothing is straightforward. As soon as you think you have figured it all out, they change the whole plot. Many fans think that because Robert will play Dr. Doom, Iron Man won’t come back. However, there is also a conspiracy theory that this is a way for Marvel to trick you! Unfortunately, all we can do is speculate and hope for the return of Tony Stark to the Avengers team!
