McDonald’s came into existence in 1940 by the McDonald brothers. It soon became one of the biggest food chains all over the world. The McPizza Was Discontinued Because The Food Wasn’t Fast Enough
The McPizza was launched in the mid-1980s and started as a family-sized pizza, brought to you by an employee and placed on an elevated rack in the middle of your table. Later it evolved into a one-person-sized pizza. However the size was never the problem for the McPizza, there was something else wrong with it that caused it to be discontinued.
In the 2000’s the McPizza was officially discontinued in almost all restaurants. The main reason for the discontinuation? The Pizza took too long to cook. And if your whole business model is made around fast food which usually only takes minutes to be prepared, a 15-minute wait for a Pizza is too long.
