Last year, during the summer, prison guard Linda De Sousa Abreu treated one of the inmates differently. She proceeded to have multiple sexual activities with an inmate named Linton Weirich at HMP Wandsworth. The interactions of the British prisonguard and the inmate were recorded by another inmate and quickly went viral online.
After almost 6 months, a judge was able to decide the future of Linda De Sousa Abreu. The ex-prison guard faced a lot of criticism from peers in the same field as she put her colleagues in potential danger and undermined the authority of other female prison guards. Because of this, the judge decided that the rightful punishment for Linda was 15 months of jail time!
