Jannik Sinner wins in 4 sets from defending champion Carlos Alcaraz
Sinner had to overcome an elbow injury he got during his fourth-round match of the tournament. The first set of the match was won by Carlos Alcaraz, but Jannik Sinner didn’t give up. The Italian player went on to win the next three sets, defeating Carlos Alcaraz and securing the Wimbledon 2025 championship. The scores of the four sets were:

This victory is just over a month after Alcaraz beat Skinner in the French Open Final in a marathon that lasted five hours and 29 minutes. It was also the first time since 2008 that the same players played each other in the finals of two Grand Slam tournaments of the same year. Since it was the men’s finals, there was a big crowd. Even the Prince and Princess of Wales and their kids were spotted watching the game.
