YouTuber and ex-Disney star has taken a different turn over the past few years. Instead of making funny videos on the internet, he has been fighting some of the greatest fighters in the world. He recently announced his next opponent, and this time he will take on World Champion Gervonta Davis.
Jake Paul Takes on Gervonta Davis in a new Netflix fight
Jake Paul, the person who started as a YouTuber and Vine star, has made millions from making videos online. However, in the past few years, he has been taking on Boxing as a passion project. He started this when he fought Deji Olatunji in a card where his bigger brother, Logan Paul, fought KSI. Since then, he has been fighting a lot of different fighters in different categories. Recently, Jake Paul announced that his next fight will take place in the next few months. This time, he is taking on World Champion Gervonta Davis via Netflix!
Fans are still saying it is not a real fight
While Jake Paul has an incredible pro boxing record and has fought against some of the biggest names in the fighting world, many people say that he still hasn’t fought in a “real fight”. Jake has been accused many times of only choosing opponents against whom he had more chances of winning. He has boxed against retired wrestlers, other YouTubers or even retired boxers. However, with this fight, it is not the age of the opponent, but rather the weight. Jake Paul sits comfortably at 200lbs (90kg) and is 6ft 1 (1.85m), while Gervonta Davis is only 5ft 5 (1.66m) and weighs a little over 135lbs (61 kg), giving Jake Paul the clear advantage for this fight.

The fairest fight Jake Paul has fought was against Tommy Fury, who ended up beating him in a split decision. During this fight, the two men had a similar build, height and age, which made it more fair.
