For example, the big battery and the A18 chip are optimized for at least 26 hours of video playback, while the normal iPhone 16 only offers around 22 hours! It is also powerful and snappy enough to run up to 40% faster than the 3rd generation iPhone SE or 80% faster than the iPhone 11! So if you’re looking for an upgrade for an older phone, but didn’t want to spend nearly £1000, then this new model is perfect for you!
Some of the big features are missing from the iPhone 16e
Apple can’t make the new phone completely blow the other models out of the water. Otherwise everyone would buy the more affordable model. So, Apple made sure to downgrade some features to justify the price drop. For example, the screen is less bright than the other models, and the phone will not have MagSafe features.
Even the design of the phone is different. It doesn’t have the dynamic island, a feature added to every iPhone since the iPhone 14 Pro models. The new model only has 1 back camera, which is the 48mp fusion camera. So you can’t take wide-angle pictures with this model!
The normal iPhone 16 has five different color options, while the iPhone 16 pro models have four exclusive titanium finishes. However, the iPhone 16e has a more limited personalization choice and only comes in black and white. These limited personalization options and the missing features make the iPhone 16e the perfect work phone for businesses. It is also the perfect entry-level iPhone for people who want to upgrade their system speed and functionalities but don’t care about wide-angle photos or dynamic islands.
