If you wanted to watch sports events, you often had to call your Cable provider to be able to add some of the channels you wanted to your monthly subscription. However, you cannot take this with you wherever you go. However, recently ESPN has released a new streaming service that allows you to watch all of your favorite sports events wherever you go! Keep reading to discover more about it.
You Can Now Watch ESPN Without Paying for Cable
ESPN channels used to be an addition to your normal cable TV subscription. You had to pay an additional monthly fee to unlock all their channels. However, recently the company decided to release its channels through its own streaming app.

So now you don’t have to deal with your cable provider to enjoy the ESPN sports channels on their smart TVs or on their mobile devices. You’re able to choose from an Unlimited Plan or a Select plan. The first option gives you access to all the different channels, including ESPN, ESPNEWS, and ACC Network. In total, you’ll be able to watch 47.000 events live and rewatch them on demand. In the Select Plan, you’ll get access to all content that is available on ESPN+ and gives you access to over 32.000 live events per year.
The prices of the subscriptions are a little bit more expensive than normal streaming services, but they will give you access to exclusive live events. The limited Select Plan will cost $11.99 dollars while the Unlimited Plan will cost $29.99 per month. You can get up to 2 months off if you choose the annual billing plan for $119.99 or $229.99 per year.
Bundle it with other streaming services like Hulu or Disney+
New customers can get an extra deal for the unlimited plan. If they choose, they can get services from Hulu and Disney+ as an extra to their subscription. For the first year, this would be included in the ESPN Unlimited plan for $29.99 and would give you access to Hulu and Disney+. The only catch? The services on Disney+ and Hulu will have ads.
