Having someone break into your house is never a good experience. Or so you’d think. A woman in Monmouthshire came back to her house finding her stuff rearranged and cleaned. It might sound like this is the best way to come home after someone broke into your apartment, but it is still very scary that someone was in your house. Keep on reading and discover what the burglar did after he broke into the home!

Two Burglaries, two very different outcomes, same burglar

The first victim was a woman who was living alone. When she came back to her apartment she noticed that her clothes were hung out, her recycling bin had been emptied, groceries had been put away and much more. The burglar also made her a meal and left her a note not to worry about it.

A little over a week later the same man broke into the summerhouse of someone else, where he used the shower, and the jacuzzi and made himself some food. It was the complete opposite outcome of what happened to the woman of the first house. He was notified by his surveillance camera, which showed the burglar on his driveway. When he was caught the burglar appeared to be drunk and had a wineglass in his hand! The DNA of the second Burglary matched the ones found in the first victim’s house, which made it clear that he had been there too.

Victim Was Scared To Live In Her House

After coming back to her house with all her things rearranged the victim thought that it might have been a Stalker. So during the time it took the police to find the man responsible for everything, she didn’t stay at home. The owner of the other house that was broken into had a different feeling. He felt useless and disgusted that he knew someone was at his summer house and couldn’t do anything about it.

The burglar, Damian Wojnilowicz a 36-year-old homeless man, later pleaded guilty to the crimes and apologized to the victims. His lawyer claimed that he was struggling at the time and didn’t mean any harm to the victims. He now is serving a 22-month sentence in prison.
