Most people have been patiently waiting for the new Battlefield game to be released, and while we still have to wait a bit longer, there have been some interesting leaks that you can’t miss. EA and Dice are bringing out a Battle Royale mode to rival Call of Duty’s Warzone game. And according to new leaks, it is coming sooner than expected! Keep reading to discover more about it
Battlefield 6 Battle Royale is rumored to release 2 Weeks After the Premium version!
In recent leaks, the release date for the Battle Royale version of Battlefield 6 is coming out just 2 weeks after the release of the premium version. This means that during October, FPS gamers not only get the paid multiplayer version of Battlefield 6. They’re also getting the free-to-play Battleroyale mode, in which you’ll take on teams of 4 with your own squad in a shrinking zone. On this large map, you’ll be able to drive heavy vehicles and destroy buildings!

The news is only a leak and can still change
While the rumors are promising, it is not official information. This means that everything, even the release of the battle royale game, can change. Currently, Battlefield Battle Royale is in EA Labs, where people who signed up for beta testing can share their experience with the developers. Check out some footage of leaked content below!
Is It Too Soon or Is It The Perfect Marketing Strategy?
The news of the release of Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode is getting quite some attention. Many experts think that this might not be the best plan, as EA will take away revenue from their premium title, Battlefield 6, as the Battle Royale game mode is completely free to play.
However, there are other experts who are looking more at the general market and think that the free-to-play battle royale style Battlefield game, in combination with the premium multiplayer experience, can cause EA to win the complete FPS-gaming genre. This means that they would release both their premium game and their free-to-play game weeks before the newest Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 game comes out. Making a lot of people doubt if they even want to invest another £70 in a franchise that hasn’t offered the best player experience in the past few years.
