Ariana Grande Speaks Out Against Ticket Scalpers

Ariana Grande

Last month, Ariana Grande announced a new tour across the US, Canada, and the UK. This is the first time in a while that the singer is coming on stage. She’s taken a break from the showbiz for a while but is making a comeback later this year! However, getting your hands on tickets might be a bit more difficult than you’re used to. Keep reading to discover what happened.

All tickets for Ariana Grande’s tour are sold out

If you were planning on buying a ticket to one of Ariana Grande’s concerts on her new tour, then you’re out of luck. They’re completely sold out on the original ticket-selling platform. The tickets were originally priced between $50 and $500. However, Ticket scalpers immediately purchased all of them, and now all shows are sold out. If you’re looking for a ticket, you’re able to purchase them on second-hand platforms. However, you’re going to have to pay a LOT over the original price of the tickets.

On social media, Ariana has shared some messages telling her fans that she is upset about what happened with the tickets. She’s also checking out what she can do to help fans get tickets. However, for now, there is no other option than to check out Viagogo to get your hands on tickets.

What could she have done to prevent this?

It is true that there is not much that artists can do to prevent these ticket scalpers from buying the tickets. However, they can limit the damage they do. Ariana Grande has chosen not to do this in advance. Because of it, people will now have to pay over the actual ticket prices to attend the concerts.

For example, Taylor Swift required her fans to sign up for a lottery system before the ticket sale. When the tickets went live, selected fans got a code that gave them access to the ticket sales. Each of these codes gave access to a maximum of 4 tickets, making it more difficult for bots to just buy the tickets.
