London’s Natural History Museum and Pokémon are joining forces for their love of evolving creatures. They’re celebrating it in the beginning by opening a new pop-up shop in London. Here, Pokémon fans can visit both the museum and the shop to get exclusive merchandise for a limited time only! However, since there is such a big hype around Pokémon, especially the trading cards, this limited-time pop-up store is super attractive for scalpers!
The Pop Up Shop will have exclusive merch
The Pop Up Shop is not a new, permanent location like a Pokémon Center. It’s a temporary one that will only be open for a few months. From January 26th to March 22nd of 2026, you’ll be able to visit the pop-up store. Here, they’ll sell general Pokémon merchandise. However, you can also get some exclusive stationery, clothing, and a new exclusive Natural History Museum-themed plush.

People need a ticket to be able to enter the shop and purchase any of the exclusive merchandise. However, you don’t have to pay for the ticket. You’ll be able to get the free tickets starting from October 1st, and you’ll be able to get them online. However, we think that these tickets will be “sold out” instantly, so make sure you’re available and check out their website in the morning.
Another Chance For Online Scalpers
There is a possibility that the Pokémon Company and the Natural History Museum can do to prevent scalpers from claiming the tickets and selling them. For example, they can make sure that each person can only claim 2 tickets. In addition to this, adding a name to tickets could be another measure.
However, even if there is a limit on tickets, there are still ways for scalpers to ruin the fun. For example, if you don’t have limits on the units you can purchase, they’ll be able to buy them all. These can be sold online for a premium to people who didn’t have the chance to visit the store or purchace the plush!
