Google Pixel 10 Fold is the first IP-68 rated foldable phone
Recently, Google announced its new lineup of phones and announced some big upgrades to the Pixel Pro Fold model. With this new generation, Google has made the first foldable phone with an IP-68 rating in the world. This means that the phone is 100% dust and water-proof. In addition, it can be submerged at a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes without damage.
Other new Pixel phones
The new Pixel 10 Fold is not the only new model that has been announced. During the same event, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL were announced too. These are non-foldable phones that feature all the same AI-infused software as the Pixel 10 fold. In addition to this, the new Pro phones will feature screens that can go from 1Hz to 120Hz, compared to the 60Hz to 120Hz from the normal Pixel. The pro models will also have better cameras. So, if you’re looking to take the perfect pictures, the Pixel Pro models will be your best choice.
The pricing of these models is a little below the prices of other major brands like Apple and Samsung. With the base pixel starting from $799, the Pixel Pro and Pro XL are $999 and $1199.
