A documentary on the life of Pro boxer and ex-reality TV star Tommy Fury was recently released by the BBC. The documentary tells the story of his life and recent events, like his breakup with Molly-Mae Hague. Keep on reading to discover more about it.
The Documentary Isn’t Only About Rainbows
In one of the first clips of the new documentary, they talk about how the boxer had a problem with alcohol. However, Tomy also said he didn’t want a documentary about a life that is all “rainbows” and perfect, because that is not real life.
When the breakup between Tomy and his ex-partner, Molly-Mae Hague, became public news, loads of people said that it was probably because Tomy had cheated. However, the boxer denied the claims and called them disgusting. During the documentary, he explains that the main reason for the breakup was his problems with alcohol. After the professional fighter had surgery on a long-standing problem with his hands, he used alcohol to feel better and developed a problem with it. When his ex-partner left the house, she also took their kid, Bambi, with her.
Later, we also discover that Tomy’s dad, John Fury, had told Molly-Mae to leave his son, as he was not good for her and their daughter.
Tomy Fury became a lot more famous after his Jake Paul Fight
While Tomy’s fame initially skyrocketed after he participated in the reality TV show Love Island in 2019, his boxing career only took off after his fight against YouTube Boxer Jake Paul. Later, the UK pro-fighter had a fight against YouTube Boxer KSI, where he won by majority decision. This fight generated 1.3 million pay-per-view tickets and had an arena filled with people as well.
