Yesterday, the trailer for the new Lego Batman game, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, was released at Gamescom 2025. It is the first TT Lego game in years, and they’re coming back big! The new game would have multiple new features, story lines, and would even have an open world for players to roam around in and fight crime. Keep reading to discover more about the game and on which systems it will be released.
Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight
It has been a while since TT games have taken the lead on a Lego game. From 2005 to 2022, there have been more than 20 Lego games developed by them. However, now they’re back and they’re trying to adapt it to modern times.

The game would feature a new open-world Gotham with multiple storylines and characters that come from Batman movies and comics. The way of combat in the game still looks similar to the Batman Arkham games. This would be the first time that TT Games is making an open-world Lego game for Batman, which looks amazing in the trailer. Have you not seen the trailer yet? Then check out the video below!
What devices will it be available on?
It seems like developers have finally given up on the previous generation of consoles and have gone all out for new devices. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will only be available on these next-gen consoles. When the game comes out, it will be available on the PS5, the Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2. This last one will probably upset quite a lot of players who’re still using the original Switch since the new console only came out a few months ago. The specific release date hasn’t been announced yet; however, it will be sometime in 2026.
