Apple implements new ChatGPT
Apple is releasing its latest iPhone during its event in September with the iPhone 17. The company is also releasing its latest iOS version. This year, it is going to be iOS 26, and Apple Intelligence is going to be a big part of this next update. Apple has teamed up with OpenAI to provide AI services to Apple Intelligence! Recently, OpenAI launched ChatGPT 5, their latest and best model yet. Apple has confirmed that this will be the ChatGPT version that will be used in the newest software!

You don’t have to worry about the privacy aspect of OpenAI’s ChatGPT on your iPhone. Each time you ask something through Siri, your IP will be masked, and none of the conversations you have will be saved in their database. If you want to have your conversations saved, you can link your personal ChatGPT account, and then they will be saved.
Backlash about ChatGPT 5
While the new GPT is very effective at what it does, many people dislike that they’re having to use it. Many paying ChatGPT users had their whole workflows set up using each of the previous models. In ChatGPT 5, these models are all combined, becoming a jack of all trades, master of none.
Due to the overwhelming backlash, OpenAI has rolled back the update for ChatGPT 5. Users can now choose again and select which model they would like to use again.
