The Tesla Model Y has always been the “Ugly Duckling” of the Tesla lineup until the Cybertruck took over this title. However, it seems like Tesla really wanted to take the family car to the next level. To achieve this, Tesla has redesigned the car’s looks quite a bit. New Features of The Tesla Model Y
The Tesla Model Y used to look like an inflated version of the Tesla Model 3 and a smaller, less sophisticated version of the Tesla Model X. The new 2025 design takes it to a whole new level. The internal “organs,” such as the battery and the springs, stayed the same. However, now the outside looks like a completely new car!
It all starts when you’re looking at the front of the car; Tesla completely redesigned the face of the Tesla Model Y by implementing sharp edges and a sportier front-light design, giving it a real facelift. However, the most significant change is on the back of the car. The complete rear light is a lot different, and they have implemented a sportier wing on the back. The small aerodynamic changes also give the “long-range” version 30 miles more than the previous generation of the car.

People are not happy with it!
Even though these changes make the car look a lot better than it did, people are not happy with it and are making fun of it. If you’ve seen the pictures and the video, then you know that the front looks more like a cybertruck. This car has been mocked for its looks by most people, so to change this car to look more like it feels like Tesla doesn’t listen to its customers.
However, the problem most people had with the reveal of the new car is the new price. The previous long-range model cost £52.000. However, if you’re trying to get the 2025 model with all the new looks, you’ll have to spend £10.000 more, as the launch edition will cost £61.000!
