Max Dowman Becomes the Second Youngest Arsenal First-Team Player
A 15-year-old player of the Arsenal team, Max Dowman, made his Premier League debut after replacing Saka in the 64th minute in a game against Leeds United. Even though he is just a teenager, he immediately got to business and was only taken off the field after Leeds defender Gabriel Gudmundsson tackled him. The defender received a yellow card for the offense. At the time of the game, he was just 15 years and 234 days old. This makes him the second youngest player on the team. His teammate Ethan Nwaneri, who made his debut at 15 years and 181 days of age in 2022.

Not A Surprise For The Other Arsenal Players
When different members were asked what they thought about the skills of the 15-year-old Dowman, they reacted unsurprised. Arsenal boss Arteta said that this is what they have been seeing during the training sessions already. He also praised the parents for raising a talent like that with maturity and hunger to perform.
Max Dowman has been training with the first team squad since he was just 14 years old. He hasn’t made his Premier League debut before, as age restrictions kept him from joining. However, this year he is eligible and will show up more often. This would be especially the case if Arsenal player Saka has a hamstring injury that he has to recover from.
