Paranormal Activity
To start this list with one of the most popular horror movies ever. Paranormal Activity started the “CCTV”-style movies. Even though the movie is a lot of nothing and silent moments, it still manages you to hide behind a pillow, whilst looking with one eye. The movie is terrifying because you know that at any point, something could happen but it manages to catch you off guard all the time!
The ring
If you have ever seen the ring, you know that it was a cursed VHS tape that caused most of the drama. Anyone who watches the tape will die within 7 days. The sound of static TVs or seeing the black and white screen of an old TV still manages to creep most adults out.
Human Centipede 2
Are you not really into horror, but do you want to watch something gruesome to really feel the Halloween spirit? Then the Human Centipede is one of the movies that you must add to your watchlist this year. We must warn you that the movie’s content is not suited for people with weak stomachs! The name of the movie kinda makes it clear what it is about. However, it is even more horrible than you’d imagine. If you have ever seen the first movie, you’ll probably wonder who in their right mind chose to make a second one.
The conjuring
From the same directors as Saw and Insidious, The Conjuring is one of the best Halloween movies to watch with your loved ones. The reason to invite someone is not because it is a good movie to enjoy with company, but because you will want to hold on to someone while watching it.
