Die Modewelt trauert und mit ihr zahlreiche Fans des au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Designers. Das Werk von Armani hat unz\u00e4hlige M\u00e4nner, aber auch Frauen, mal elegant, mal sportlich, gekleidet. Ein herber Verlust f\u00fcr die Welt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seine Karriere begann einfach und endete gro\u00df<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Giorgio Armani wurde im italienischen Piacenza geboren. Er erblickte am 11. Juli 1934 und damit vor rund 91 Jahren das Licht der Welt. Eine richtige Ausbildung in der Modebranche hatte Armani nicht, daf\u00fcr aber jede Menge Talent. In den 60ern war er als Eink\u00e4ufer f\u00fcr die italienische Kaufhauskette La Rinascente sowie als Schaufensterdekorateur t\u00e4tig, bevor er rund 10 Jahre sp\u00e4ter den Grundstein f\u00fcr seinen sp\u00e4teren weltweiten Erfolg legte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zusammen mit seinem Partner Sergio Galeotti eroberte er mit spannenden Ideen die Welt der Herrenmode und erschuf einen Stil, wie er auch heute noch weltweit von M\u00e4nnern gesch\u00e4tzt wird. 1985 verstarb Galeotti und Armani f\u00fchrte das Unternehmen allein weiter. Unter den zahlreichen Kunden Armanis befanden sich auch diverse Prominente wie Kevin Costner, Richard Gere und viele weitere. Auch Frauen wussten im Laufe der Jahre Armanis Modekreationen zu sch\u00e4tzen. Beispielsweise erschuf er f\u00fcr F\u00fcrstin Charl\u00e8ne von Monaco ein ganz besonderes Kleid mit 40.000 Kristallen und 20.000 Perlen.<\/p>\n\n\n

Unerm\u00fcdlich, bis zuletzt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Trotz seines gehobenen Alters hatte Armani bis vor Kurzem immer noch entscheidenden Einfluss auf das Unternehmen. So soll er es sich nicht haben nehmen lassen, jede Kollektion und selbst Kleinigkeiten selbst zu \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen und erst nach seiner Pr\u00fcfung freizugeben. Er behielt deshalb bis zuletzt seinen Spitznamen “Re Giorgio”, was \u00fcbersetzt so viel bedeutet wie K\u00f6nig Giorgio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am n\u00e4chsten Wochenende soll eine Trauerkapelle in Mailand f\u00fcr Giorgio Armani eingerichtet werden.
